Kar Tat Embroidery Factory Ltd. was founded in 1975, specializing in computer embroidery, lace, shuttle embroidery, drawnworks, badges, hand sewn embroidery, embroidery with beads, embroidery on knitwear and bead sewing etc. Factories were built in various industrial centres of mainland China , such as Shenzhen, Dongguan and Zhongshan. A 270,000-square-metre new complex will be completed in Shenwan area in Zhongshan , Guangdong province, in 2005. At the moment, Kar Tat Embroidery Factory Ltd. owns more than 400 multihead embroidery machines, 10 computer shuttle embroidery machines from the Swiss renowned manufacturer Saurer, and many more for sample embroidery and pattern design. With over 3,000 employees, Kar Tat makes sure every part of the production logistics is taken care of: from pattern design and sample production to mass production and packaging.
