NDSU has returned to fully live and in-person classes.
NDSU is strongly recommending that all people wear face coverings in indoor spaces when social distancing cannot be maintained. Masks are required in all classroom settings whether such classes are credit, non-credit, training sessions, etc. Faculty members who are able to maintain social distance from students may remove their masks during the class for purposes of being more easily heard.
The following rules also apply:
a. Every person should be comfortable wearing a face covering and is encouraged to do so. People should not face any pressure to discontinue doing so.
b. Health care operations on campus, including Student Health Service and Counseling Center, will continue to be able to mandate face covering in accordance with regular health care protocols.
Student Life
We have established creative approaches to co-curricular activities, to foster learning and growth that comes from experiencing groups while following all current institutional guidelines regarding social distancing and face covering usage. Residence Life
Students who need to quarantine will do so in their own rooms.
Separate rooms will be set aside for students living in the Residence Halls who may need to isolate at any point during the semester.
Quarantine and isolation meals are available for students who are symptomatic, have been exposed to someone who tests positive, or have had a positive COVID-19 test.
Planned day-to-day operational adaptations include providing disinfectant stations for student use and scheduling additional sanitation by campus custodians.

Dining
Dining has implemented a number of modifications, including:
- Thorough cleaning and disinfecting on a regular and frequent basis, following state and federal public health agencies guidelines, utilizing EPA approved cleaners, sanitizers and disinfectants.
- Poly gloves for those who want to utilize them while using self-serve areas.
- West Dining Center will continue to be an allergen friendly facility free of tree-nuts and peanuts with Clean Eats station offering items free of the top eight allergens. Students with food allergies may contact Hannah Prigge for specific meals/needs.
- Take-out meals available from all three dining centers to allow students to eat outside of the dining center.
- Hand-sanitization stations throughout serving areas, in addition to disinfecting wipes available for use.
- Quarantine and isolation meals for students who are symptomatic, have been exposed to someone who tests positive, or have had a positive COVID-19 test.

Student Health Service
COVID-19 testing is available at Student Health Service.
Students can receive free vaccinations at Student Health Service by appointment, which can be scheduled by calling 701-231-7331.
Students may be required to wear face masks while in Student Health Service.
Both in-person and limited telehealth appointments are available.
Counseling Center
NDSU’s Counseling Center will continue to offer one-on-one counseling through telemedicine and in-person as possible.
- Support groups will be offered virtually for a variety of mental health concerns.
